What are credits?

OSU platform credits are what you spend on the platform to access its paid services (apart from its numerous free-of-charge offerings). The concept is similar to AWS credits and many other platform-as-a-service models.

OSU credits can be purchased once registered with an account on the platform by using both fiat and digital currencies (such as Bitcoin and Ethereum). For this to happen, you need to access your profile and top-up your account.

OSU credits can also be acquired by converting your EDU tokens - the primary fuel behind our crowdfunding effort back in 2017 and 2018. By converting your tokens into platform credits you can unlock their value proposition and pay for educational and professional development services and products.
